Posting again about the holiday photo card exchangeLauren & Raegan, Mon Oct 13 4:29PM
Hi- I just figured I would post again about a holiday photo card exchange in case there are some doodlers on here who did not see my original post. Last year a few of us exchanged photo cards via SNAIL MAIL. Some people sent holiday cards and enclosed a photo of their doodle(s) inside. Other people used... more

I think we're making progress (sort of)Hanako, Chiyo & Chudleigh, Mon Oct 13 3:32AM
This is a testament to the unshakeable patience Labradoodles have especially dealing with small children. I've been trying to teach our 16 month old not to pull Chiyo's fur and finally managed to get him to stroke her 'gently' - just the once, and then he had to grab a handful and give an extra violent tug - testing... more

Hi All, Sundog took her CGC test today. She passed with flying colors, the evaluator said. I was very proud. We didn't practice at all this time. I ran her 3 miles on the bike this morning to release energy and got there early to let her explore and do meet and greets. The evaluator also said she is a very... more

ARE LABRADOODLES THIS SMART?Maggie,Bryn & HOBs, Sun Oct 12 6:41AM
OK, I've heard lots of stories about how smart people's Labradoodles are, that they understand things which dogs shouldn't even know aboutb. I've noticed a few things which seemed to show me Bryn is a pretty smart cookie. For instance, I tried the citronella barking collar years. He soon worked out that he didn't... more

Brian and I are committed to feeding our little doodle, Georgie, raw when she arrives this month. We have a Shih Tzu, Charlie, who is already on raw, but she isn't a big eater, so it's very easy for us to handle. The vet has her on chicken and rice, then a little ground beef at night with cheese or yogurt. She also... more

Since recieving Kona, I have always fed our doodles raw, but I have two kids and we have found that serving with bones is too much for us, so we alway buy the prepared raw and supplement with human quality ground beef, ground turkey and uncooked beef bones. HOW TO POST PICTURES TO RUTLAND MANOR LABRADOODLE CHIT CHAT:

Using a Windows-based PC:
1. First upload your pictures to Photobucket. Go to the Photobucket.com web site and follow their simple instructions.
2. On Photobucket, enlarge the picture you want to post by clicking on it.
3. RIGHT click on the LARGE picture.
4. Click on properties
5. Highlight the entire HTTP line.
6. Control C to copy the HTTP line.
7. Go to the place you want to post your picture. (If it is on a chat page go to the "message" area.)
8. Type: <
9. Type: img src= (be sure to leave the space between img src)
10. Place your cursor IMMEDIATELY after the = Then CONTROL V will paste your HTTP line there.
11. Type: >
12. Press Enter
YOU'RE DONE!!!
When you re-display the page, the pictures will show.
Repeat this for each picture.

Using a Mac: (Special Thanks to Nisey & The Girl Gang for Updating the Mac Directions!!)

* One hint that really helps on a Mac is that you can open many windows on the internet by clicking "Control T". It will open a tab for the new window but keep the first window open with the title on it. Now all you have to do is click from one to the other.

1. You must first have your picture somewhere on a website. Shutterfly or Photobucket work well.
2. Once you have uploaded your pictures into an album, open the album, then select a picture by clicking on it.
3. When it (the picture) comes up, click on it to enlarge it.
4. Now right click on the picture and select "Copy image address"
5. Go back to the Chit Chat page. Type in < img src=PASTE YOUR HTTP ADDRESS OF THE PIC HERE > with no spaces immediately after the "=" sign. Leave the brackets at the beginning and end. There are also no spaces after the first < and before the last >. To paste the picture in, just click "Control V".
6. It helps to already have a note started on the chat page where you want the picture to show up, then just decide where you want the picture and paste in all the information in step #5. The picture will not show up until you either "Preview Message" or "Post Message". All you will see while writing the note is the stuff you typed in and the image address.
7. You're done! Repeat as needed.
